Union Terrace (Post-race party)


All Madison Mini-Marathon participants get to experience something special after the race – the beautiful post-race party on Untion Terrace. When most people think Memorial Union, they think of the Terrace—and those brightly colored starburst chairs. Set on the shores of Lake Mendota, this campus icon is Madison’s most popular back porch. Picture the smell of sizzling brats fill the air as you and your friends enjoy the sweet summer breeze and dancing under the stars.

Dane County Farmers’ Market (Rated one of America’s best farmers’ markets)

The Saturday Farmers’ Market is one of the most unique events in Madison, Wisconsin. The market takes place around the Capitol Square on Saturday from 6:30 am to 2 pm. Nearly 200 area farmers sell home grown produce, but the market is more than just produce! Live music, coffee and sweets draw the Madison community to the square. State Street (Part of the Half Marathon Route)

This unique shopping, business and entertainment district is home to more than 370 shops, galleries, restaurants, and night spots, many locally owned, plus museums and cultural destinations.

Camp Randall (Part of the Half Marathon Route!)

Camp Randall is the home to the Wisconsin Badger Footbal team.  Before becoming home to Badger Football, Camp Randall served as a historic U.S. Army site named after Wisconsin Governor Alexander Randall.
