The 5th Annual Madison Mini-Marathon & 5K will bring in 5,000 runners and walkers to the City of Madison.
There are many highlights to performing in front of the 4,000 participants in the Half Marathon, 1,000 participants in the 5K and the 750 volunteers:
- Group name and booking information listed on the Madison Mini-Marathon website.
- Group signage may also be displayed at your performance location as long as it does not interfere with the race (Signage may only be 6’x3′).
The Madison Mini-Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m., which means your group must be at their assigned location by 6:00 a.m. Everyone will finish by 10:30 a.m., with some groups ending earlier, depending on your location on the course.
Along the 13.1 mile Mini-Marathon course and the 3.1 mile 5K course. Performance locations will be mailed in early August. Most locations are near businesses along the route.
All groups will be responsible for supplying their own equipment. The Mini-Marathon will provide access to electricity, either from a business or a generator. Please be specific when completing the application, so we can best accommodate your group. If you have your own generator, please note this as well.
NOTIFICATION & ORIENTATION
Confirmation letters will be mailed upon receipt of your application and demo tape/CD. Selection will occur in mid-July with selection letters going out in late July. Location assignments will be mailed in early August.
